Open Source XHTML/CSS Templates
The Web Templates I make available for download on this site are 100% free to use. I only ask that you leave the link at the bottom of the templates. These templates are protected under the Creative Commons 3.0 License which means that you can use it to your heart's content, as long as you keep the link on the bottom. Check back often for more!
Basic & Blue
One colum layout with top tab navigation with hover effects, Header, footer, and top quick links. Very basic, basic layout and very easy to edit for customization, or can even be used as-is for a very clean and simple site. Please do not remove the link in the footer.

There are a few really good AntiVirus protection programs that are that are not only free, but better than the big money ones like Norton or McAfee. No need to shell out the dollars for one of those when these are just as good... if not better!

AVAST 4 Home Edition is the only free scanner to offer scans on bootup. This can greatly increase the chance of removing stubborn infectors, particularly those that use resuscitators to thwart removal attempts. Avast! is the only free antivirus scanners to offer adware and spyware removal - and is one of the few to do so even among paid-for antivirus scanners.

Spyware Protection
Again, some of the best spyware protection software is free. It is VITAL that you run Spyware scans everytime you are on the Internet. If you have a highspeed connection where you are always online, it is even more important to run them daily.
Ad-Aware SE 2007 Free by Lavasoft is designed to provide advanced protection from known Data-mining, aggressive advertising, Parasites, Scumware, selected traditional Trojans, Dialers, Malware, Browser hijackers, and tracking components. With the release of Ad-Aware SE Personal edition, Lavasoft takes the fight against Spyware to the next level.
Spybot Search & Destroy is an application to scan for spyware, adware, hijackers and other malicious software. Click the link to download, or read more about it from their website here.
Microsoft Windows Defender is a software product from Microsoft designed to prevent, remove and quarantine spyware in Microsoft Windows. It is part of Windows Vista and available as a free download for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. Of the three, this is is not really much of a favorite. The Defender does not scan archive folders and the definitions database doesn't seem to be nearly as extensive as the two above.
Photo Editing Software
Google's Picasa is a wonderful package of photo editing techniques that is completely free. All digital cameras should come with this! It is increadibly easy to use and does a lot of great effects.
Office Suite - Just like Microsoft Office!
Need a word processor but Microsoft Office is just TOO expensive? OpenOffice.org is a multiplatform and multilingual office suite and an open-source project. Compatible with all other major office suites, the product is free to download and use.
